Watch it again Ask Campbell, Dan, Garth, Jai, Leoni, Ralf or Tim who are on the DD team. Of course, next to fun also good progress is being made.

Angels and founders, please remember to nominate who you think deserves it. There are three categories and Suse explains.
The difference between the Puawaitanga and the Arch Angel is that the Puawaitanga is as much about the venture as it is about the investor director. It is more of a ‘one-off’ award for a great deal being supported by a super competent, return-oriented, value-adding angel. This award will create ‘role-model’ ventures for other founders looking for angel investment and for those angels aspiring to develop an uber-angel reputation.
The difference between the Arch Angel and the Kotahitanga award is that this is essentially an opportunity to recognise people who may not personally be super active angel investors writing personal cheques. These people may have taken smaller passive shareholdings in a few angel-backed ventures so they do not qualify for the Arch Angel award. But they have been super engaged in the space and supporting the growth of the industry for an extended period of time, leading networks, contributing to professional development, attracting investors, mentoring high growth startups, raising early stage ‘side-car’ funds etc etc
The Arch Angel is someone who is basically both the Puawaitanga and Kotahitanga all rolled into one … an angel and totally immersed in angel investment, building a meaningful portfolio, being on boards, providing thought leadership, promoting the industry etc etc
① Good sessions this week in Auckland unfortunately, Whangarei is not seeing a lot of demand which is disappointing for mentors. But Whangarei ADI Whip Martin will not give up. ② The Mecca Group likes what we're doing with ADI.Clinic and David Gandar has approached us with a view to Mecca members chipping in as mentors. ③ So Julian, our angelic bigamist wed to FKA and Enterprise Angels, is finally getting closer to running an ADI.Clinic in Hamilton, which will be supported by angels from both his marriages. ④ Yesterday's ADI.Clinic had a very interesting video call from Kiwi Reuben Metcalfe in Silicon Valley. He is now building ClassAction.com after awakening from his earlier I Dream of Space venture. In this double session, we learned a lot from this master of the conversion funnel. Uli will follow up.
