These are three great pre-Summit events that are well worth attending for NZ angels investors whether or not they will be attending the actual AANZ Angel Summit 2017.

Tech Shed 2017

On the evening prior to the Summit, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise will be hosting a pitch event with twelve New Zealand companies looking to raise capital. Registrations are separate from the Summit. A fresh cohort of companies will be showcased, with opportunities you haven’t seen before.

This will be run by Ken Erskine and we’ve scheduled it run alongside the AANZ Summit. This will be a brief ‘awareness raising’ course taking place over a social get together which has a two fold purpose - helping you get to know your fellow investors, and touching on key components of being angel with references to helpful resources.

​Ken will be also joined by Ron Weissman from Band of Angels in San Francisco, to compliment this session with an international perspective to angel investing.

Valuations Workshop

We have added an additional session, particularly for the benefit of the more experienced angel, with Dan Bernstein from Corum Group in Seattle. If you are involved with ventures that are working towards exits, you’ll enjoy this session with Dan as he takes us through valuation and M&A considerations.
