Another FKA Friday

Since July 2013 we have been holding our ADI.Clinic at BizDojo on K'Rd. See two early plugs for our service here at Auckland Tech Startups and here at BizDojo. Now we're moving with the BizDojo crew to Wynyard Quarter and from next week ADI.Clinic will run at www.GridAKL.com.

The Market Validation master classes earlier this month with expert Peter Simon were well received by the 100+ attendees over the two events for founders and investors.
This video shows a humorous example of a "Total Market Validation Failure".

Enterprise Angels want to close the round today, Friday and our investment vote stands at 10 YES out of 15 votes, with $30 co-investments. Five angels still to vote!

iDefigo
A number of FKA Angels are already invested in iDefigo. Thanks to Charlie and Stephen for the DD Light Report. The investment votes stands at 8 YES out of 9 votes, with $35k co-investments.

LLLP | Beneficial Ownership | Approved ✓
We had 17 votes, all in favour of the proposed changes to the handling of the beneficial ownership of shares. There are implications for one of our angels. These will be considered by the board when proceeding with the implementation. We'll keep you posted.

Mon 22 Feb - Pitch Night #017 CHANGED
The first pitch night in 2016, still room but some angels are already lining up the first startups. We had to change to Monday this one time due to a big event that KPMG are running on Tuesday. Richard our man KPMG, says "Extra drinks!"

Welcome back to angel investing in 2016. Slowly but surely, everyone is returning back to normality after the long summer break.
We have achieved a lot since kicking off in May 2014. We are doing so much better in this group than acting as lone wolf angels. Hence this post today on LinkedIn, see here.

Remember this one from before Xmas? All done, $242k finally invested yesterday, see the extract from the share register here. Thanks, Arron, and now keep us posted on progress.

Debtor Daddy ✓
Yes, we did vote this one into our portfolio too, in early January. $155k commitments. SSA is being prepared by Simon Swallow and cash collection will start next week.

Techion ?
This was circulated with full DD Report earlier in the week for our #008 Investment Vote. It is being lead by Enterprise Angels, Tauranga. Please have a look at it and VOTE here.

iDefigo
A number of FKA Angels are already invested in iDefigo. The business is now in the UK. Charlie and Stephen have worked through this and are negotiating terms of a bridge round for another DD LIGHT.
