Welcome Wherewolf! Ben Calder and Wulf Solter are rejoicing as the LPs of LP2 confirm Wherewolf as FKA's #12 portfolio company. This is a great result all around after Ben and Wulf took the advice from the first diligence in 2015 to now get funding and full support from the FKA team.
Amazing those FKAngel types! Take James. He has barely closed the round on NexTransfer and he is already beavering away and testing his next MVP in a secret mountain location. Check out this sneak preview, a true AFKAF exclusive.

CCH Rudi attended the pitch nights at Brisbane and Melbourne Angels last week. Both groups are very welcoming and anybody visiting there should make contact with them. Rudi can connect you with John and Jordan.
Interesting observation. They charge 3% on investments to fund operations. However, they don't take it from startups after funds have been invested, they bill angels 3% before they accept investment funds through their nominees. So like with FKA, all money invested goes to startups. One Melbourne investor was aghast to learn that Ice Angels would have taken 3-6% of his investment into Parrot back from the company.
FKA proudly operate a zero fees regime!

ADI.Clinic was running this week in Auckland only. We had some visitors today following the NZSA talk given by Josh. We had another referred remotely by Angela whilst lazing in Honolulu. Turns out Jackie is lazing in the very same spot. Both lament "No escaping the FKAs!" That sounds so much better than the rain and the wind in Auckland that Karl vR, Paul T, Rudi B and Uli W had to fight to reach GridAKL on Thursday.
