October is a special month for Germans. Lots of FKAngels are German.
Come to Rudi's House this Monday. All who bring a six-pack are welcome whether they have one or not.

Monday would be a great opportunity for those interested in growing wings to meet different existing FKAngels and have a chat.
Thank you, Garry, for bringing HLL diligence to a close. It has been a long time coming but the result is good and the investment vote is underway. Here the original pitch video to refresh everyone's memory. FKA will share the full DD report with interested co-investors provided the vote is positive, making HLL 13th portfolio company. We need 17 YES out of 32 LP votes.
Below two short videos illustrating the benefit of CO2 for plant growth and the construction of an industrial greenhouse.
Ralf reckons GetPalace.co.nz diligence is drawing to a close. He is hoping to submit the report to Charlie soon to get voting underway before the end of this month.
Garth and Phil are champions for James Sampson from fileinvite.com who will pitch later this month. Good idea to prep for this one and trial the product for free. Thank you to straight shooter Lance Wiggs, he wants to invest and sent James our way.
FKAngel and chair Ralf Muller, IR Chris Sattler, CCH Rudi Bublitz and KPMG auditor Lauder Erasmus attended the AGM in person. CEO Ben shared some interesting stories which kept coming back to a simple metaphor of competing for bananas with a big gorilla in the room. However, StretchSense is no monkey business and expecting a headcount of 150 by the end of 2017.
Bob Drummond liked the Kami team right from the beginning, back in 2012. First as judge of the Spark, now Velocity competition. Then as an ongoing mentor, as chairman since FKA invested in 2014, and now stepping aboard full time as Chief Revenue Office. We hope Bob is not hunting for revenue on the moon
Jackie Young is still drumming up last angels for the ᴇᴄᴇɴᴛʀᴇ Iɴᴠᴇsᴛᴏʀ Uᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ. She is expecting a great angelic turnout for next Tuesday. The startups that pitch always appreciate the frank FKA feedback.  Please RSVP

Our chief cat herder has been asked this question many times. Here now, Rudi shares this video of his attempts in the early days when there was only the dirty dozen to content with. Not easy not, impossible!
On LinkedIn, Ⓡudi Nice to hear from you. We have an angel summit here at the beginning of November. Interested? Ⓙaques It sounds tempting, but I'm working on a networking party on a double deck yacht in Tokyo on December 7th if you want to join us :) Ⓡ Tempting too but conflicts with a very busy time in NZ. I'll put it in my newsletter. Have you got a ticket price? Ⓙ It is limited to 120 people and it is free for some select people. For some others, it is part of their membership. For you, it would have been free :) Ⓡ Haha, you know how to tempt people :-) Our event last year was a tad more earthbound.
Suse, we hope you read this. FKA is promoting the AANZ Summit all the way to Japan!
Occasionally, we get stood up. Not nice when we're providing a free service with our ADI.Clinic as this deprives others of taking the slot. It also wastes the time of the mentors although often they take it as a welcome breather between sessions.
