Angelic Kiwis who want to help startups back home are everywhere. This one, Stephen Smith lives in Dubai. Hattaf, also in Dubai has talked with Stephen as have Maheen and Rudi. Stephen likes the way we roll and three angels think he'd be a great addition to our MENA team.
Any reasons we should not help Stephen grow his angel wings? If you have any concerns please email the FKA Board in confidence.
David Eldor has talked with Graeme, Maheen, Phil and Rudi. He is an active angel all right and likes how we do things. He also likes Eight360.
Before investing he is taking a trip on 24 May to Wellington to meet the team and test the ball. Email David if you want to join him for a spin!
Still, if anyone knows of a reason why not to bring David in from the cold now is the time to email the FKA Board in confidence.
Interesting observations by Ben Kepes.Hattaf sums up "More companies die of indigestion than starvation. That quote, oft-repeated, is attributed to one of the godfathers of silicon valley startup culture- Bill Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett Packard."
So Narrative Moose is already our portfolio company #18. Now, we're doing DD on HappyMuse. Is this the beginning of a phonemic pattern?
“Those of us in machine learning are really good at doing well on a test set,” says machine learning pioneer Andrew Ng, “but unfortunately deploying a system takes more than doing well on a test set.” More!
