Vlatko from Hot Lime Labs #13 has just sent in the investor update. No doubt this team is working hard for success. Go Team HLL
Debra made a compelling case for "Turning Kiwi Scientists into Superheroes", watch it HERE. $25k seems a good investment to turn a nerdy scientist into a savvy entrepreneur. Vlatko from Hot Lime Labs is a fine graduate of the KiwiNet programme.
We at FKA want to help KiwiNet produce more Superheros. The first $10k have already been pledged and we hope that many more from FKA will join this pledge HERE, reference FKA so we can claim 1 or 2 Superheros.
One Stephen has the ESOP t-shirt, the other Stephen is making an FKA t-shirt. Always grateful for contributions to this newsletter from our angels.
This one on ESOP came in overnight from the former. our UK angel, the other is our UAE angel More here!
Laura and her team are stacking $2.3m. Great result! Laura gave a compelling pitch to FKA in April but in the end, we didn't proceed to invest.
Chintaka and GD1 were leading and closed this $1m raise. We had first contact with Junofem in March of last year but were unsure about their direct to consumer strategy, not the UPCO man. Good to see this done!
If you have a sense of FOMO over the two above cases then make sure you're at the table of the next DD!
Congrats to Robbie Paul and the team at Icehouse Ventures! Many years of supporting startups at the early stage are clearly paying off for the IVX growth fund. Onwards and upwards! LinkedIn & NBR
